About The Candy Passport

A candy store selling international and rare sweets and treats

The Candy Passport is a chocolate shop in San Diego, California. It is listed at 2820 Historic Decatur Rd Ste 34, San Diego, CA 92106, which places it among the local businesses of San Diego that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 40 reviews, which is a strong result for a chocolate shop in San Diego and suggests consistent service.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love this place, all the staff are so friendly especially Gabe, he always makes an effort to talk about the items I’m purchasing! Pls don’t get rid of the jolt Dr Pepper it’s my favorite energy drink and the only good one I’ve found!

Don’t buy the dumpling squshies from this place… they opened up the plastic package that they’re originally supposed to come in and spray painted them. When we opened them there was a strong smell of spray paint and then the color started coming off within the first 24 hours of them.

Shocking amount of expired candy being sold. Check the dates of the candy that you plan to purchase. I’d be wary of labels you cannot read.
